Job Description:
Will develop embedded software for electronics control systems by configurating, integrating and testing of software in a bench environment.
Will test plan creation, execution, and documentation as well as set-up and provide configuration of test bench hardware & software.
Will complete mandatory and feature specific testing using manual and automated methods.
Will evaluate and support development of new product features.
Will provide customer support for machine system development.
Will understand customers needs (machine & engine) and product application.
Will aid and potentially lead, troubleshooting of software or system defects, Will support factory, engine lab, proving grounds, and customer start-ups.
Will communicate technical information to internal customers, team members and other process partners; and support and advise other engineers, managers, and internal customers, and will support and lead validation process improvements to aid in better quality and efficiency (i.
e.
automation and simulation).
REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Masters degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and 4 years of experience performing control systems engineering in the automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
Position also requires 4 years of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) configurating, integrating and testing software; engine or machine software development, including troubleshooting of software or system technologies; direct working experience with software tools and technologies, including:
MatLab, Python, Simulink, Git, CANalyzer, CANape, and dSPACE.
Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree (or equivalent foreign degree) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and 6 years of experience performing control systems engineering in the automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
Position also requires 4 years of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) configurating, integrating and testing software; engine or machine software development, including troubleshooting of software or system technologies; direct working experience with software tools and technologies, including:
MatLab, Python, Simulink, Git, CANalyzer, CANape, and dSPACEApply below.
